Bushing (Plain bearing) / Buchse (Gleitlager)
Bushings are cylindrical sleeves used in machines and devices.
They serve to enable low-friction movement between two components by acting as plain bearings that can absorb radial loads.
Plain bearing bushings reduce wear and thus enable a longer service life of the machine.
Bushings are typically made of metal or plastic and are manufactured in various sizes and shapes to meet the specific needs of the application.
They are often used in applications where a rotating shaft must be guided through a housing or plate.
